What R-value do I need?
Insulation matters more in Oklahoma than almost anywhere - 100-degree summers and ice storms in the same year. Single-layer doors are R-0; good double and triple-layer doors run R-9 to R-13. If your garage is attached, shares a wall with living space, or has a room above it, insulation pays for itself.
Which material fits my home?
Steel is the durable, affordable default. Fiberglass resists rust and moisture and fakes wood beautifully. Full-view aluminum suits modern homes. Wood overlay gives real warmth on a steel backbone. There’s no wrong answer - only wrong matches for your style and budget.
What’s included in the price?
A real installation quote includes the door, ALL new hardware (tracks, rollers, springs, drums, cables), haul-away of your old door, and the labor warranty - in writing. If any of those are “extra,” you’re not comparing the same job. Ours includes all of it, with a 5-year parts and labor warranty.
