DGD came highly recommended from several friends after running into a garage issue a few months of purchasing a house. Fantastic customer service at Discount Garage Door. They came out once to assess an issue we were having with the garage door, and I followed their advice to help the door (it was sticking - likely due to an old weather stripping sticking to the door). I fixed the weather stripping and sprayed PFTE on the stripping. When I called back to let them know that it was still having issues, they worked with my schedule and got someone out the next business day. They sent out the GM Cody and he immediately diagnosed the problem and fixed it while he was there. They weren't perfect, but they were determined to fix my issue properly and promptly and it did not cost me anything extra.

Edit: received call from manager and after discussion was refunded all but $125. I appreciate the follow up and feel much better about the price and service received. Not clear upfront on pricing. Asked for itemized receipt twice and still didn’t receive one. Was charged $365 in labor for less than 30 minutes of work. I was told that’s just what it cost because it’s being considered a commercial door (also not disclosed when I called to schedule). It’s the garage door to our shop at our residence. No parts needed. When told the pricing I was under the impression it was if a spring needed, it wasn’t. Called around after the fact and this was by far the most expensive in the city. Still waiting on my itemized receipt so I can see where the $365 went.

*EDIT* I am updating after talking with James, the general manager. Most businesses would just leave a comment asking you to call them, but he reached out to me personally to apologize for how I was handled initially. He asked for the opportunity to do whatever was needed to make it right. I let him know that just calling to discuss with me was enough, as someone who is in the same position from a business perspective, excellent customer service is a must. While we did not use them for our problem this time, I will gladly consider them again, since we did have a great experience with them initially. Very disappointing. I used Discount Garage Door about 5 years ago and had the best experience. We've been getting quotes to fix a broken spring. When I called to get someone out to get a quote the lady who answered the phone seemed very annoyed that I had called and just started rattling off prices to me. I had to ask her to repeat as I didn't understand what she was talking about and then said there would be a $125 service fee. I told her I'd spoken to a few other places who had come out to do quotes and asked if they did that she said with a big sigh yes, but they were all booked up. It's tough when you're in a frustrating situation already with your garage door not working and you're trying to find a price that works within your budget and a company that you've used before seems genuinely uninterested in helping you. I won't be calling them back and will gladly use anyone else at this point.

I had two new garage doors installed on my very old home and detached garage, which is nearly 100 years old. From beginning to end, the service and customer support were outstanding! Kenny was my sales representative and was wonderful to work with. Cody and Landon handled the installation, and I was very impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and the quality of their work. The communication was amazing as well! The entire experience was excellent, and I couldn't be happier with my new garage doors. I highly recommend this company and especially appreciate the great service I received from Kenny, Cody, and Landon!

Tech came out and got the job done next day after calling, replacing sensor that went bad. Also had James come out to look at the work done and make sure all went well. Overall they did a great job and came out quickly. Replaced some things that needed it and did awesome job

Brenton was great!! He made sure I knew exactly when he’d be there, quickly identified the problem and provided a solution. We went from huge headache to relief in a matter of 45 minutes. And all with a fair price. He also provided a lot of extra information for the future should we ever run into any more issues, ie warranty info, maintenance, etc.
