Size is the first fork in the road. A single-car door (typically 8x7 or 9x7) covers one bay; a double (16x7) spans two and costs more in material but usually less than two singles installed separately. If you are replacing two aging singles, it is worth asking whether your opening supports a double - we will tell you at the free estimate, along with headroom and track options if your garage has storage racks or low clearance.
Install day itself is fast: most residential installations take two to four hours from pulling the old door down to balancing the springs and testing the new one before we leave. In most of the Tulsa and OKC metros we can install same or next-day on stock doors.
