  • Motor burned out – evaluate carefully. Motor replacement can be expensive. We will compare the repair cost against a new unit and let you decide with full information.

Opener repair cost depends on the part that failed. Sensor realignment and remote reprogramming are on the lower end. Replacing a drive gear, logic board, or motor runs higher. Most repairs are completed in one visit, typically 30-90 minutes on-site. Sensor fixes and reprogramming take under 30 minutes. Gear or board replacements take longer, but we carry the most common parts on the truck so a second trip is rarely needed.

A humming opener that wont move the door almost always means a stripped drive gear or a broken trolley. The motor is running but has nothing to turn. This is one of the most common opener repairs and usually takes under an hour. Do not keep running the opener – you risk burning out the motor and turning a simple gear replacement into a full opener replacement.
